Because of snow and ice, the beginning of the course has been shifted back by one week.
The Guilford County Beekeepers Association will offer the Beginner Beekeeping Course on the following dates:
Thursday, January 18 – canceled due to weather
Thursday, January 25
Thursday, February 1
Thursday, February 8
Thursday, February 15
Thursday, February 22 (NCSBA Certified Beekeeper Written Examination-optional)
Weather make up date to be posted later.
Classes begin at 7:00 pm for about 2 hours a session, and will be held at the barn kitchen meeting room in the Guilford County Agricultural Center, 3309 Burlington Road, Greensboro, NC. The plan is for 5 teaching sessions, administration of the optional written portion of the NCSBA certified beekeepers examination at week 6, for those wishing to take it.
We will post registration and other additional information soon. We wanted to post the dates as soon as possible to allow people to plan their schedules
