This bee yard day is open to anyone currently on my bee buddy list. If you would like to join us, please email me or call me in advance of this day.
In addition to general wellness checks on the hives, we’ll try to get to a couple of other things.
Some of the things we’ll try to get to are:
- dealing with a laying worker hive
- doing some sugar shakes to determine varroa counts
- moving some growing colonies to woodenware
- probably merging some small colonies
- removing some equipment from the bee yard
