Getting Ready for Winter

Winter is coming! And we need to get our bees ready. I've added some posts related to what I'm doing to get my bees ready for winter and I'm also hosting a zoom get together on Sunday, November 21st at 6:00 pm. I know that this is not a lot of notice, but hopefully you can join us for at least some of the meeting. (Details are below in the posts and also on the website.)

So how's your bee year been? Please join us on zoom and share your experience. Or if you can't make the zoom meeting, let me know so I can post it on the site and share it in the next newsletter.

Also, a reminder that the NC State Beekeepers Association has their in person conference this week on Friday & Saturday in Hickory. You can learn more at their site or under events at BumblingBeekeeper.com. I'll be attending on Saturday only and will have some updates from the conference. I've invited some other beekeepers who will be at the conference as well, so hopefully we'll have a few different reports.
